No one should ever be expected to drop what they are doing and jump to do someone else’s will. That is some crazy stupid slave labor mindset expectation. If you can’t ask when my schedule will permit to help you, then maybe you shouldn’t be asking for my help at all. You don’t own me. You are not my mom. Definitely not my spouse. You are supposed to be my friend but instead you treat me like an imposition.  I ask very little of you.  I share just as much of whatever I have with you, as you do with me. I do not constantly find things to ask you to do for me. 5-6 different things a day you manage to come up with, at very least and usually well over a dozen. I don’t ask you to hand me things that I am able to get myself. I don’t ask you to take my dog on the porch every time she needs to go out at night, and sit out there with her until she’s ready to come in. I do not ask you to dye my hair once a month. Or to go to the store multiple times a week to get cigarettes.  I don’t ask you for anything. Yet, your expectations of my time seem to be the thing you want me to schedule my life around.
